Creating Midterm 10

B.6 Video Tutorial: Word Drawing House

Triangle created, edited so it uses a texture. Rectangle created, using a brick pattern.

Window created, filled with light blue color. Copied the window, placed on other side of the house.
Door created, colored it red.
Doorknob created, colored it orange, changed the transparency.

Sun added. Text in the sun added, font size changed so name fits.

Chimney added. It's actually a triangle rotated and a rectangle together. No black borders, since it'd look like two shapes.
Smoke added, colored gray.

Curvy lines from the sun added. Hard to see since they're yellow.

People added.

This is the process of creating and using vector graphics in Microsoft Word 2007. The above picture of a typical house.

It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. For details, visit the immersive BC portal at http://ImmersiveEducation.org/@/bc
